With Enemies like this, you’ll probably want some friends. Or maybe they’ll be your subordinates. Heck, I don’t know, maybe you’ve been betrayed and just want to stick it out yourself. It depends on your choice. Everyone in the underground has options. You can join an existing Mafia with one of your fellow freedom fighters, fly solo, or create a Mafia of your own. But remember, running a street is simple, running a town might require a little backup. However you want to play, you can take the fight to Apex in your way.
It’s a rough world out there, ladies and gentlemen. But remember that sometimes, even in the criminal underworld, paying it forward can pay it backward. You find someone having some trouble, maybe you can help them out a bit. Then start talking. Before you know it, somebody owes you a favor that you can call in when you’re in trouble. Friends can visit each other, so they’re a great way to stay connected in the world.
I wish you the best of luck if you’re making enemies aside from Apex out there. But inevitably, you’re gonna end up competing with fellow freedom fighters who share your hatred but not your goals. They might compete with you for your fronts, or pursue you in bounty hunter fashion. Whatever the case, don’t let your guard down. Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. Oh, and make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into. Last thing you want to do is face down an entire Mafia by yourself.
Mafias are families of like-minded players presided over by a single Boss. A Mafia will inevitably be stronger than its members alone. They can run Fronts together, build special buildings, and benefit from the work of those around them, even non-Mafia members. A Mafia exerts control over an area, based on its size and power. A Mafia of significant power will collect Cash from nearby Fronts whenever a job is completed. They’ll do this regardless of the player who completes the job’s affiliations. Be careful out there, sometimes Mafias war over land and the last thing you want to do is walk into the crossfire. Two Mafias can’t influence the same building, you see. So there’s the issue of who gets the Cash whenever their territories overlap. Usually that gets pretty violent, so make sure you check your surroundings and don’t get caught up in a firefight.
